Sprints 22 Races
W-W winners 6 (27%)
2nd after 1/2m 7 (32%)
3rd after 1/2m 4 (18%) (77% by 1-2-3 runners after 1/2m)
4th or worse
after 1/2m 5 (23%)

Routes 7 Races
W-W winners 1 (14%)
2nd after 1/2m 2 (28%)
3rd after 1/2m 1 (14%) (57% by 1-2-3 runners after 1/2m)
4th or worse
after 1/2m 3 (43%)

In sprints the horse with the lead after 1/2 mile finished in the money 17 out of 22 races.

Richard -- Thanks for the profile, came in handy in the 9th today. Stopped in quickly on the way home. Fractions set the race up but still had to chose the horse before the gate opened.

W-W winners 21 (47%) Front speed has ruled the past 3 days.
2nd after 1/2m 12 (27%)
3rd after 1/2m 6 (13%) (87% by 1-2-3 runners after 1/2m)
4th or worse
after 1/2m 6 (13%)

Routes 8 Races
W-W winners 1 (12.5%)
2nd after 1/2m 2 (25%)
3rd after 1/2m 1 (12.5%) (50% by 1-2-3 runners after 1/2m)
4th or worse
after 1/2m 4 (50%)

In sprints the horse with the lead after 1/2 mile finished in the money 37 out of 44 races.

I'm guessing that they have the track tighter now than they did when the fair opened.

A quick, informal update:

Yesterday, Wednesday, everything was won on, or near (no worse than 3rd after 1/2m) the lead, in both sprints and routes. Horses coming back after having a race over the FPX surface that showed early speed, and then faded, in their first race, are improving and staying on better in their second race over the track.

I'm traveling the next couple weeks, so I'll see ya when I return. You can have my share of the P6 (two-day carryover) at FPX today!
