Have two tonight on a very very good Mohawk card.
R4 3 John Adams 10-1
R8 8 Banner Yankee 7-1
This card presents the "She's a Great Lady" final with a purse of $754.500 and the Metro Final with a purse of $1,000,000.
In the Great Lady like Lady Mattgalane (3-1) in a good betting race.
In the Metro like Mr Apples (8-5) in a not so good betting race. The Metro to me looks like a two horse race "apples" and Artzina.

Why do you like these horses.I bet Mohawk every week and I noticed nothing special about the horses.
Mel:
I agree with you in the Metro...should a chalky two horse race.
The Great lady race may have some value. There are 5 good horses with #5 Michelle's Power offering the best value. I have 3-5-1 as the main contenders.

Good work Mel!
You are the best I have ever seen with these harness races man. Keep up the strong results.
Richie :)

Thanks Richie and Zaf I just wish the harness game had more tracks with larger handles. :) The Woodbine/Mohawk and Meadowlands are "just go ahead and unload pools" with Northfield and Balmoral/Maywood being OK but limit your bet size or get hurt tracks. Had a very nice hit at Pompano last night a $36.80 winner the place horse paid $3.20 yet the exacta came back at $211.20. The smaller pools are a "bet less and yet earn more" type of deal.
Richie-----I think there are so many good prices at harness because guys like you are in the t-bred pools. :) I say "why compete with cj and his posse when I can bet the harness races.

I have to add I don't like the idea of having to compete with that JeffP and his Jcapper crowd either. :) Or those HTR boys. :) And then there is the Sartin group and the homegrown programs. Less sharks in my pools. :)
