RACE 6
9. YANKEE THUNDER makes just his third career start for trainer Bobby Frankel. This one was very sluggish at the beginning of last race but did close well ti run fifth. Like the rider switch to Prado.
12. CRANKY PANTS appears to be putting everything together recently and this one should run well despite the poor post.
1. OEDIPUS O’NEAL has run second in last three starts including the $150K NY Stallion last out.

RACE 7
9. ON BOARD AGAIN was scratched yesterday to run in this spot for Frankel after breaking maiden at first asking last out. Has been on the shelf since Jan. 14 but Frankel hits with 21 percent of his runners returning from a long layoff.
7. POLITICAL FORCE remains at the same level for Allen Jerkens and is making his third start after a layoff. Beyer numbers improved well from start 1 to start 2.
1. WHITE SOX has some physical issues which are evident from all the layoff lines but is in capable hands as trainer Jimmy Jerkens hits with 22 percent of his layoff runners.
GRAND SLAM: 7,9/1,2,5/1,7/2,4,6

RACE 8
1. ASI SIEMPRE won a small stake at Saratoga last out on the turf and this one is making her second start after a layoff for Biancone who wins with 16 percent of his runners in that situation and with 23 percent of his runners who won their last start.
2. SWEET TALKER has 7 wins from 11 turf starts and drops a notch after running second in the Grade I Diana.
5. STELLA BLUE will be on the lead under Velasquez.
PICK 4: 1,2/1,2,5,7/2,4,6/5,7

RACE 9
1A. ASHKAL WAY ran second last out in the Fourstardave earning a 100 Beyer. This one has three wins and a second-place finish in four U.S. starts. Other half of entry makes this duo very tough.
7. BADGE OF SILVER is 1-1 on turf winning a Grade II event at Santa Anita in January for Frankel who just loves bringing horses back after a layoff (21 percent).
5. QUEST STAR ran third last out in an optional $75K claimer for trainer Neil Howard who wins with 26 percent of his runners making their second start after a layoff.

RACE 10
2. HENNY HUGHES it is simply his race to lose posting four wins and three second-place finishes in 7 lifetime starts.

4. COURT FOLLY would be the main beneficiary is they all take a shot at running with Henny early on.
6. SONGSTER is a speedball who has three wins and three second-place finishes in 6 lifetime starts.

RACE 11 THE TRAVERS STAKES
7. BLUEGRASS CAT really has done nothing wrong except for that fourth-place finish in the Bluegrass at Keeneland. Like the easy 5-furlong breeze Aug. 19 to keep him sharp after the big run in the Haskell just three weeks ago.
5. BERNARDINI has won four consecutive and will be an underlay in this spot.
2. MINISTER’S BID ran a distant second to Bernardini in the Jim Dandy last out but there is plenty of room for improvement as this will be just his fourth lifetime start.

RACE 12
8. LOG JAM appears to be improving enough to get the job done today.
3. SPEED OF SOUND makes his second start after being on he shelf since Sept. 2005. Trainer hits with 28 percent of his runners in that situation.
2. TOUGH AND EASY ran fourth last out and it is of note this will be Velasquez’ third ride on this one.
