R1
The "droppers" in here are coming out of Starter Alw races for horses that broke their maidens for $40k or less; or, Passion For Purple and Lil Miss Hollywood which look suspect. For my money, I'm going to the one that has a right to improve, #1 Iowna Harley. This one has speed but doesn't need to lead. Lafitt should be sitting just off the pace battle and have horse left when the real running starts. #1 to win.
I'm also doing a P3 starting with 'Harley using "all" in R2 on a $1 ticket to #4 Wild Tickle and #6 Palmarola in R3. And a second P3 on a $5 ticket using 1,2,3,5,7 in R2 and just #6 in R3. So $14 on the first P3 ticket and $25 on the second P3 ticket.
R6
This is Tradition Rocks race to lose. Gold Point's last race was BTL so I'll hook them up/down in exactas.
R7
A lot depends on whether Fast N Nab (a need-to-lead type) can get an easy lead. If Sabre Tooth Tiger (drawn inside of 'Nab and another need-to-lead type) goes then 'Nab is in trouble. Your call on the easy lead. Holy Mackeral is a lightly raced 6YO that looks like it could move forward again and the distance should be no problem for his late running style. He's my key to hit the board.
R9
Can Lil Cooper run back to the big fig; or, was it the kiss of death?
If I can get 4-1 on Cloud Jumper that's where I'm going in this one.
R10
The grand finale! Hess put the hood on the 8YO Such Charisma and he kicked up his heels in the morning for his best work in two years! I'll try a little of this guy at 4-1 or better.
Sing it Bing--one more time!
