Saratoga Race 2

Looking the card over earlier this morning. Second race - full field of 12 on the dirt. A bit of a rarity... a nice betting race... Then I notice at the track's website that 7 of the 12 are scratched. Track conditions listed as fast/firm.

I'm beginging to wonder if "imaginary" horses are beind entered to make people think there are full fields????

I have never seen a more pathetic Bel/Sar than this year.
The quality of the SAR meet has got to be the worst in the last 100 years.
NYRA has a real problem in term of day to day racing.


Is it time to stop running three tracks and stop winter racing? Perhaps they have drained the pond and have nothing but minnows left for fishing season.

Today's card is the worst so far at the meet, I couldn't find 1 decent play all day.

The race was for 2yr maiden claims, I think trainers enter, and owners say wait a minute I have 100,000 in that rat, I don't want to loose him :bang:

If a trainer thinks you should run for a tag, your a rat you better start over!
