Lets guage the interest in a small quick get together at Keeneland for their championship weekend which happens to be Comlumbus Day Weekend...oct 6th through 9th.

Cheap to fly into Louisville on southwest air...and looking at Holiday Inn express near the track for 79 per night.

Any interest???

Too bad I'm not living in Lexington anymore! (You're about eleven years late!)

I can't make it this year. For you guys going, if you make it trackside, be sure to wear a dust mask. :)

I can't make it this year, just got back from Del Mar. Nice place, but give me Saratoga anytime. What a great trip. Can't wait till "07". A great bunch of guys, even Andy.

I'm going to book a double room tonight and book my flight tonight.

Rooms will go quickly as will flights as Univ of Kentucky and Louisville have full sports weekends set.

Track admission is $3 each day. I'm flying into Louisville but Lexington is closer to hotel.

I'm flying into LEXINGTON instead of Louisville on Friday AM, the 6th arriving at 11 AM.

Will be staying at same Holiday Inn Express as I posted (lexington SW- Nicholasville) checking out Monday the 9th. Flying out the Monday night at 6 PM. Room price is $81 per night.

Spoke to Bill W and he's in. Looks like Justin, Tom and a few others are a go also. I'll pack my polytrack dust mask as CJ suggested, comes in handy when Justin gets nervous and starts lighting up or I light up a cigar!!! :)

Racing at Keeneland Friday-Saturday-Sunday and then visit local horse farms on Monday! 7 STAKES RACES 3-Grade 1's, 1-Grade 2 and 2-Grade 3's and another 100,000.
