I can't believe how horrible their purses are. Compare these two open claiming races run tomorrow at Ellis and Mountaineer:

Ellis open $30000 claimer: purse $14,000
Mountaineer open $5000 claimer: purse $15,700

I guess slots are a possibility. They better hope they get them.
