This quote from the article should sound familiar racing fans:

Glenn Colton, a New York lawyer who wrote a friend of the court brief for the Fantasy Sports Trade Association, said the statistics licensing issue is critical to the industry.

"The idea on MLB's part is if you can scare all of the little companies out of the market," Colton said, "you can collect more money."

a previous thread has a post (maybe mine!) about a similar ruling NBA from years past.
The article does not mention how the fantasy league is getting around not using copyrighted logos.
MLB and Commissioner "tie game" do not understand what 12 million fans more or less means!
Like I said before, the NTRA or someone should start a "fantasy TBred trainers' league".
