View Full Version : New BRIS Cutom PPs
New FREE software from BRIS - their version of Formulator@.
Lots of bells and whisltes and easy to use. Some different things from DRF, too. Can sort PPs by post, Power Rating, etc and you can set the layoff line to whatever time frame you like. Can merge WOs into the PPs and you can show pace figs in the condensed PPs.
All in all, a nice improvement, and you get your money's worth <G>

I'm still browsing throug the great features of the new Custom PP Generator. Only found one bug so far and I e-mailed the BRIS programmers to advise them of it. My message has been copied below:
"I've been trying out the new Custom PP Generator and really like what I've seen. I've only found one thing so far that you might want to take to the programmers. I've not changed the layoff line from the default of 45 days as I like it right there. However, I noticed that the layoff line is not shown/printed at the top of a horse's last line when its last race was more that 45 days back. An example that you can look at is the 1st race at Arlington on Sunday, September 8th. The one horse, Dr Sharen G had not raced since June 16th, but there was no layoff line over its last running line. Thought you guys might want to know that if it hasn't already been noticed/reported".
They (BRIS) have always been quick to reply and the reply to the above was:
"We had layoff line problems fixed before releasing it, so I have no idea why they are showing up again but I know they are! Thanks Bill".

I've been trying for over a week to download the new Bris PP Generator. When I click on the DOWNLOAD line I get a quick "error on page" flash message. I've tried 3 different computers with the same results. E-mailed Bris and got a return message that they would inform someone about the problem.
This was late last week. I'm just wondering if it's me or if others are having the same problem.

I downloaded the pp generator from Bris, but was told that if I wanted to download the ultimate pp's the cost would be $14.00 per card.It seems a bit pricey for pp's no matter what they do.
