Did anyone attend Joe Mainardi's HorseSense seminar held at Del Mar on September 1st?
Appreciate any information on the new upgrade.
All the best,

Lefty,
There may some confusion in the ranks, because my understanding from a very brief communication from Joe Mainardi is that the version on his website is the upgraded version.
A month or so ago, a dedicated HorseSense user praised the program to me.
But, recently 2 HorseSense guys have told me that the program isn't that great.
I owned and used the earlier version, didn't care for it, and looked forward to a dynamite upgrade, since Joe is an expert handicapper and a first rate programmer.
In fact, not long ago, Joe told me that HorseSense was catching trainer intent off workout patterns, which Joe feels are still important. This at a time when some of the A. I. programs are assigning lower impact values to workout ratings.
If I had to lean one way or the other, I would have confidence in Joe's output, because I respect his judgment and experience.
Can anyone shed more light on this? Is the current version of HorseSense as powerful as some of its users say it is?
I originally heard that it's great right out of the box, without being tweaked. However, some guys are tweaking the settings like crazy, sort of making their own models.
All the best,
Jaguar
