MTO PICKS

RACE 1

3 MASSOUD

I had this horse for third but my buddy BA (who has been working his horse Bondsey at Fairhill) says that Graham Motion really likes his horse here. I like the close workouts on the woodchips off the layoff.

RACE 2

1A RONDO

Is this what I’m going to be called the rest of the day? I think that we’ll see more of this horse.

RACE 3

9 SLY DIAMOND JIM

Could run away with it

RACE 4

9 SILVER TIMBER

After 2 ½ bad races, horse may be back

RACE 5

5 FIRST DEGREE

Have to go with the million dollar horse, bumping in last, tries lasix and Bejarano back on

RACE 6

11 SIMON PURE

Best of fine bunch

RACE 7

8 SPANISH CHESTNUT

Class of field, racing well

I would have went with Bondsey as longshot choice, but BA says he had a fever this morning of 102 and will be scratched from race.

RACE 8

8 JUDY SODA

Judy Soda is back!

Gomez first win of the season

RACE 9

8 DESIRE TO EXCEL

Hard to ignore

RACE 10

6 PULPITEER

I remember sitting at Saratoga last year, with a guy a few seats back over my left shoulder , beating his leg with his program, yelling “Pulpiteer, Pulpiteer, Pulpiteer, Pulpiteer” again and again as the horse closed fast to complete my exacta!

I welcome all snide remarks, criticism and compliments.

I didn't mean MTO, I meant that I did not handicap the MTO horses. Chastise me if you will.

Not a bad day at the track. Let's see what damage I can do to tomorrow's card.
