DEL MAR FRIDAY, JULY 21

Been off to a good start the first two days at Del Mar but have not had any luck with the selections posted here using the first race, so today (tonight for anyone on the East Coast) let's go with race 2

RACE 2

1. BELLA BANISSA drops from a Grade III event and has been freshened. This one runs well off the bench and trainer David Hoffmans hits with 36 percent of his horses coming in after a long layoff.
6. SWEET FITZ is 1-1 at the distance on turf and is making her second start after a layoff for trainer Darrell Vienna who wins with 21 percent of his horses making their second start after a layoff. Did add front bandages for last race.
3. COTORRA has two wins from three lifetime turf starts and is 1-1 at the distance. Should look to sit a stalking trip and try to pounce on the leaders turning for home.
