This is the first good stakes over a mile this year. It goes 1 1/16, purse is $200,000, entry fees are enough to make one think before paying out the $$. Lone Star Sky and Christmas Away have supplemented for $12,000, while Payforaday has fot $3,000. Payforaday has won a 1m 70yd at RiverDowns,while Christmas Away has won a mile race at Arlington and Lone Star Sky has won the GIII Bashford Manor and ran a good second in the GII Saratoga Special. McPeek's Risky Cat(Tale of the Cat)ships in and should like the distance. This should be a good one with BC implications written all over it!If your getting your colt ready for a 1 1/8 this is how you need to do it. The 5 & 6f races won't. JMHO
