Greetings,

Those of you that have access to Race Replays, checkout Monmouth Race 4 for 20 July 06.

Look at the incident in the early stretch, then focus on the HORSE (on both knees) AND JOCKEY (belly button over the head) and just admire the determination by both as they drive to the wire.

Now that is what I call GUTS!

I don't play Monmouth but I will check up on that Jockey Stats.

Alan Garcia. He's got a lot of heart, rides the cripples, the crazies, etc., LOL. Good young jock and good move going to Monmouth.

Just watched it. When the horse clipped heels, Garcia's ass was in the air and his noggin headed for the dirt. When the horse regained stride, it knocked Garcia backwards so that his head was on Briefcase Beauty's rump and his feet were in the air. Somehow, he got back into the irons and finished strongly for 2nd. And this all happened in the final 1/8.

Alan's display of skill rivals that of Rose on Afleet Alex in the Preakness and that of McCarron on Alysheba in the Derby. Might even be better. Beauty deserves a good bit of praise, too......

See this if you can....
