I am a grandfather for the 5th time this morning!

My daughter, Amy (Schwartz) Furman, gave birth early this morning to Michael Leland Furman. 22" and 9 pounds, 4 oz.

When interviewed, Michael said that his size would prevent him from entering the pinhead community (i.e. as a jockey) but that he was considering becoming either a running back, quarterback or heart surgeon.

He also said that in his spare time he would "clean up the Iraq thing" and discover a cure for cancer.

Personally, I am a little concerned about his IQ. In our first chess game this morning, he still had to point at his moves.

Light up them Havanas, guys!

Thank you to everyone (including those in other threads).

Apparently there is some descrepancy on the weight. Seems the hospital says 9-9 instead of 9-4.

Dave

PS: He beat me at chess again.

By the way, if you read the above line the wrong way, someone in your family would most likely faint....

I didn't think GC had a property in Reno, but wanted to make sure there wasn't a miscommunication :) .
