The cost of your ticket using all your picks is $18,000.

Now if we key your singles and use all the other horses listed as alternates the cost would be substantially lower.

I figured a ticket where you must hit any 4 of your singles with any of the alternates and this would cost you $548.00

Of course you have to hit 4 of the singles, but you do not have to designate which 4.

Now if you are confident that 3 out of you 6 singles will win and you hiy your alternates this would cost yo$1096.00

Just think this includes all 28 horses you listed that would cost you $18,000.00 if played as one ticket.

Just for today we will play a miss 3 ticket. here it is

7---------------1-5-6-8

7---------------1-3-5-8

10-------------1-6-7-9-11

4---------------1-8

1---------------3-4-6

5---------------1-6-7-8

The horses on the left are the main picks and the horses on the right are alternates.

Need at least 3 horses on the left must win. If the horse is not listed then the ticket loses just asin a straight ticket.

vic, Iam thrown here
Icouldnt figure how you are able to use all 28 pks with 3 singles on one card and get the $1096 ticket without using 3 or 4 different cards and 3 singles in different races per each card

You're on the right track with multiple tickets.

To play the ticket as I described yesterday you needed to use 21
different tickets. Seems like a lot, but if you want to take a big
shot and think you can hit 3 races it is well worth it.

You did a fine job. You had 3 mains, therefore if all your alternates
hit you would have hit it. However, you missed on the 5th. You did not have the winner. Since you had 3 mains, you did have 6 consolations @ $88.00 each return of $528.00.

Loss for the day of $564.00. Better than playing a straight ticket as you would still would only have returned $564.00
