Now that you can run windows on a mac, will any of you switch over to apple now? Will a mac be better for running handicapping software?

The earlier versions of All-In-One would not run on a Mac but there has been a software solution to that for many years which is basically add a DOS partition to the hard drive. All-In-One V6 is written in Java and runs fine on the Mac.

There is no way I would ever pollute a nice beautiful mac with windoz.....
On another thought ------------------>
If there are any software vendors out there willing to donate a free download...
I would like to attempt to get your software running on Linux using Wine (a windows emulator).
If succesful, I will document the instructions on how to do the install.
You the vendor, get the benefit of claiming on your website that it runs on Linux!
P.S. I am going to take credit for developing the first handicapping program that did run exclusively on Linux..... well one of the first programs for as long as it lasted....:lol:
Heck, shoot me a copy too - I'll see what I can do! :liar::lol:

My handicapping software runs natively on Macs. Started developing it on an SE during the 80s. The essence of it can be seen at:

It so happens it also runs the same under Windows.
I handicap on the Mac while using Windows Media Player to watch the races.
I am eager to be able to do both on the Mac, which should now be possible.

I am debuting the first of its kind, commercial, web-based handicapping program, using licensed Equibase data that will go live on July 15th. This will work on ANY platform that supports a web browser. There is no client-side software to install.
I need to get PA's permission to make a formal, commercial announcement. For now, if you want details PM me, or email me at rich@richrosa.com.
For those of you that might not remember, I open-sourced a bunch of code (the core of my commercial offering) that would enable you to start building your own web-based handicapping program. I wonder if anyone used it to start a program. I am not aware of any.
