I'm not saying this only because my team lost, but the game was a :sleeping: snoozer, as was the earlier game. One goal, total, after 210 minutes of play today. Brasil looked like they were wearing ankle weights. They aged 10 years in this tournament. :D

I'm not totally bummed, as losing in regular time is still better than winning on penalty kicks.

Did you see the stickman for England? God, Shawn Bradley lives. That guy may get broken in two someday. He looks about 6"8" and 180 lbs.

Well, I thought it was a hell-of-a better game than the snoozer ENG-POR game.

Compare the shots on goal between to two matches.

I thought the calls in the FRA-BRA game were immensly better than the earlier game. I thought the two off side calls were spot-on. The yellow card against the French in the 2nd half was bogus.

Shots on goal were few and far between.

How come the defenses are so successful at stifling the attacks? Maybe it's cyclical. :confused:
