Viagara is now his drug of choice. He's single so why does he need that stuff? Is he a fornicator? He's anti-gay, anti-black, anti-feminist, and anti-Decomcrat. Narrows down his choices for a partner. My bet is on his RIGHT hand

Personal attacks are the best you've got? Wow.
You can't provide evidence of unfounded attacks and lies you posted over the weekend, so know tou post lies about someone else?
Is this how you justify your place in society? How you rationalize your worth?
You seem to know a lot about masterbation - are you some kind of professional? Do you hold a record?

Its called humor!! Look for Leno or Lettermen to steal my jokes. A professional masturbator? You almost made a joke, dude. I like the phrase "unfounded attacks and lies", it pretty much sums up Limbaugh's career. No sympathy from me on any of his problems.

People who hate Rush just love it when he gets in trouble, but when a Hollywood star screws up for the umpteenth time...we are supposed to understand them and feel bad for them and wish them well in their recovery. Why is that?

Google some of Rush's quotes on how drug abusers should be treated by the Court system, then you can answer your own question.

Finally, a funny line!

So, his doctor gives him some viagra in a bottle. There is a dirty little secret about Viagra and celebrity types. They don't want the prescription in their name because of the Leno's and Letterman's of the world.

It is friggin Viagra...........give me a break. He is a 55 year old guy who has several medical conditions. Fits the profile perfectly for a Viagra user. He is going to get roasted over this one. Too bad.......but he has a great sense of humor.......... I am sure he will laugh along with it.

Under normal circumstances it wouldn't be much of a problem, misdemeanor at worst. Pay a small fine and it's over.

Unfortunately for Rush he is basically on Probation, and he just violated.
It's up to the Prosecutor now.

Rush can do all the drugs he wants.... I could care less. I have friends who have fought with Drugs...

Listen.. my bell rings, I'm living on 2nd floor of a triple decker in South Boston. Its my buddy Tommy McCarthy. He lives a few doors down and I've known him 20 years. He says "mike I'm jammed up.. I need some money. I'm out of work, the electric company is gonna shut me off any day now, and I'm late on a few Bills and the kids and wife are nervous we're going to have no Electricity this weekend".

I say, sure Tommy, how much you need? 500 he says. I say Tom I have about 300 here at the house, will that get you started..? Sure enough he says, takes my 300 and off he goes, and I wish him the best and tell him if I can help him in anyway possible , let me know.

What Tommy didnt know... was that I ran into his wife at Flanagan's market just two days before....and when I asked her how things were going she nearly broke down. Tommy's on the Heroin.... I had to throw him out of the house, he's on his mothers couch....the kids are a mess, and Tommy lost his Job and owes everybody money, and he even stole from me.

I asked her if she needed anything and she said no that her parents were helping her.

So when tommy knocked on my door.... I knew. But I helped. Believe me... I never leave a guy. I don't judge. But this guy Rush limbaugh is a No good mothr'fer! Period.!!.........and it aint got nuthin to do with Politics.

I don't golf quite as much as Limbaugh, yet I have lots of back pain, but no doctor I know will prescribe oxy for me. Rush was setup pure and simple. He came in on private jet and i'm told those rarely bothered by customs. But say they knew of accusations made of him and thght they should search for the dreaded oxy. When they found viagra why did they immediately call the news? Setup! My guess, no crime committed by Rush but they embarrassed him a little and that's what they wanted.

Sorry you don't "get me", but its ok. You being an Ohio resident, you should see some of the Republican tactics used here in the 2004 Election. By putting the "No gay Marriages in Ohio" on the ballot, it enabled many more right wing preachers to help get out their people to vote out of fear of Gays getting equal rights. A personal example, a co-worker calls me a "DemonCrat". He says I'm a fornicator because I have a Girlfriend, but am not married. I asked him about Limbaugh using Viagara, since he is single and it means he is having sex outside of marriage. His answer was "Rush got set-up". A lot of Conservatives like to judge others, so what has happened to Limbaugh is simple come-uppance. As far as digging at Conservatives, take a good look at many of the responses on this board, there is a lot of mudslinging at Democrats, or should I say "Libs", which is not a correct term of people who are Democrats. One thread wants Libs to be kicked out of country. I march to my own drummer, and certainly do not speak in unison with anyone.

Fair enough. BTW, your buddy at work is an idiot. But then again, I am not a religious person. if he wants to hold to that standard (one that I have never ever heard Rush advocate BTW, although I don't listen all the time) he is out of step.

As far as the Ohio election. I waited in line one hour and ten minutes to vote. if memory serves me right. I was in a 99% white area. It was like that everywhere. The complaining that it was only in Minority areas is wrong.

Last month, Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI), crashed his car during a drunken spree, adding to his long history of habitual drunkenness and substance abuse. Capitol Police extended him special treatment, due to his high office, and provided him a ride home instead of to the clink. Rep. Kennedy said he had no memory of the incident or the events surrounding it, although his memory seemed unimpaired to the police at the time of the accident.

He assured the public that he would obtain the finest treatment available for the mysterious disease of addiction, the same treatment he’s received many times since the onset of his addictive disease in 1986. He spoke of himself as a heroic figure, as someone who has struggled with addictive disease most of his life. Then, he was quickly on his way to the Mayo Clinic addiction treatment program.

Today, Mr. Kennedy was released from rehab, and at a press conference he assured the public and his constituency that his “treatment” for the disease of addiction will never be completed. He said he will remain “in recovery” for the rest of his days, diligently attending 12-step recovery group meetings in order to stave off his progressive, chronic disease. He assures us that he can never guarantee anyone that he won’t once again explode into drunkenness, and endanger the public by driving under the influence of alcohol and other drugs.

Give the guy a chance. There is a huge difference between prescription drugs and illegal street drugs whether some want to admit it or not. Rush hasn't hurt anyone. There are just people who hate Rush so much that they want him to be taken down so they jump on anything they can to hurt him.

So, I guess the Repubs amongst them should not have a say. Not buying it. This myth that Repubs are not for labor is just that, a myth. Repubs are for everyone. GW's tax cuts applied to everyone that had an income. Unions forcing labor prices up have contributed to jobs going elsewhere to get cheaper labor, yet dems with blinders on think their union is doing a great job. I keep hearing how awful ceo's are for making the big bucks. How much do the heads of these unions make? CEO's, good ones, make profits for their companies. What does the head of unions do, besides whip up hatred between the workers and the corps.
I have had experiences with unions, from both ends, labor and mgt; and it's not a pretty picture.

I see you know nothing about the NALC. Actually our Union Dues have nothing to do with supporting any Political Party. They go towards paying utility bills, the cost of grievances, the cost of Arbitrators, the cost of salaries of the President, VP, other Branch Officers, Shop Stewards, etc. Money that goes towards political endeavors is collected thru COLCPE ( Committee On Letter Carrier Political Education), and is done voluntarily. The COLCPE money is pooled to support members of both Parties who defend our Rights and benefits and support our jobs. COLCPE is only used to lobby on issues directly affecting the Postal Service, jobs and benefits. See, you learned something new today Lefty!

That is one of the reason's our Union's Executive Board voted to bypass Miami, too many illegals working in the hotel industry there. We are staying only at hotels where the majority of the labor is unionized. LV Hilton, Harrah's, Alladin, and the Riviera are the hotels that fell under the Executive Board's guidelines.

Was the decision based on there being too many illegal immigrants in Miami, or was it too many illegal immigrants who were not in a union in Miami. I don't think anyone knows the exact numbers, but I have seen some credible sources that claim that close to 50% of the members of the hotel and casino workers unions in Vegas are illegal immigrants. Do you have any info on that?

Since this is OT, I feel the need to point out that I am not trying to start a fight or throw any barbs, I am asking a serious question. Business groups want tons of immigrants for cheap labor, and labor unions want tons of immigrants to rebuild their falling membership. Since we always see business groups attacked for hiring illegals, it is fair to ask whether or not labor unions allow illegal immigrants to join the unions.

.

Yes. I have. It is false. Less than 5%. and they are removed from the union if the fail to produce the proper paperwork showing thier right to work.

Unions are regulated.... mainly due to penison, annuity and other retirement vehicles that receive special tax status. As a result, Union penison funds are required to report detailed data on membership...

In other matters:

MGM MIRAGE Vice President Alan Feldman, who once likened the union to terrorists, a charge he said he later regretted, acknowledged that the talks became too contentious.

"There was a lot of rhetoric on both sides that wasn't necessary," he said. "Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed pretty quickly, and we got this in order in just a matter of weeks."

In a remarkable turnaround, the Union has risen from its post-Sept. 11 doldrums to negotiate its richest contract ever with the casino industry.

With a focused strategy that played well to the public and a tough battle-ready negotiating stand, the union last month won tentative agreements from the four major casino operators on the Strip. The agreements gave 75 percent of the union's 50,000 members their largest increase in wages and health benefits in their history.

The nonunion hotels will have to consider similar benefit packages, or risk providing the union with additional organizing ammunition, he said.

Last week John Wilhelm, the Culinary Union's international president and chief negotiator, said he intends to launch new organizing campaigns once he obtains five-year agreements from the smaller casinos.

Eight downtown casinos have gone on record saying they can't afford the Strip contract. The union believes they can. ( suff talking... AND WILL!!)

The turning point in the Strip negotiations can be traced to the morning of May 16, when Wilhelm delivered a fiery speech to thousands of union members at the Thomas & Mack Center before they voted to authorize a strike if needed.

"You know," he told cheering housekeepers, cocktail waitresses, bartenders and bellhops. "They're trying to divide us and defeat us. We're going to turn that around. We're going to stick together and divide them. And by sticking together, we will defeat them."

By the end of the day, union members, in a massive show of force, voted 18,654 to 877 to give union leaders permission to call their first strike in 18 years.

One week later on May 23, Wilhelm's prediction came true when Park Place Entertainment, one of the "Big Four" gaming companies on the Strip, broke ranks and reached a tentative five-year agreement with the union after five weeks of tenuous collective bargaining.

The next day, Harrah's Entertainment agreed to similar terms, and in four more days Mandalay Resort Group and MGM MIRAGE, which had taken the hardest line during the negotiations, accepted the deal.

In less than a week, the union had obtained lucrative agreements at the four companies covering what the union said were 36,000 members at 18 megaresorts.

"They got the most expensive contract in history at a time when the industry could least afford it," said Mike Sloan, a Mandalay senior vice president who engaged Wilhelm in a battle of rhetoric for weeks. "They played hardball, and they won."

That the union had to play hardball was a radical departure from its cordial relationship with the casino industry in the 15 years Wilhelm has served as the union's chief negotiator. The previous three contracts were put together in a spirit of harmony and cooperation that permitted the major gaming companies to undergo their biggest period of expansion.

Suff,
Why do you think this is done with Unions when it blatantly ignored by businesses?

The idea of a regulation is hollow when it is not enforced.
We would not have an illegal immigration crisis if existing regulations were followed.

Illegals are voting - they are using false SS numbers - and you expect us to believe the unions are leading the nation in obeying regulations where it is obvious most everyone else is not?

Time for a reality check.

You ask some fair questions, which I can't answer without doing some research. One interesting note about Miami vs. Vegas, the hotel room rates are going to be cheaper in Vegas than they would have been in Miami, even using Union employees in Vegas and the hotels in Miami not using Union employees. I did not say 100% Union, but whatever basis the Executive Comittee made its decisions on. I think this goes along with the falseness of some saying if a hotel cleaning woman makes $10 an hour instead of $5 an hour, the price of a room will double. It should only add $5 according to my math.

The thing you have to remember about the room rates in Vegas is they have casinos. The casino hotels can afford to have lower rates for their rooms compared to other cities because they know that folks are going to spend a lot of money on the casino floor and on food and shopping. They get their money for the rooms, even if it is not reflected in the room rate.

Suff, it appears that you have gone off the deep end (once again). RR mentioned that the room rates, even with union labor, were cheaper in Vegas than in Miami. I commented that one of the reasons room rates are cheaper in Vegas is the casinos know that they can get their money in other ways. How on earth is that sticking up for the company's position? Please explain that leap of logic, that commenting on the realities of how casino hotels operate is suddenly taking a position one way or another on union labor in the hotels.

I'm also perplexed at why you see reason to comment on the subdivision that I live in, especially since you've never seen it or the people who live here - yep, after mucking stalls at the barn I really feel like jumping in my truck to drive out to that Ivory tower and look down at people.

I was kinda just bustin your balls because I have'nt seen you around much this weekend and I miss yea! lol.... Did'nt mean a word of what I typed..:jump:

I live in the deep end btw.

That's what I thought at first, but it was a bit too bizarre to tell.

Its been a nice, relaxing weekend out here in the country, although it looks like I have a ton of work to do tomorrow since I blew it all off today.

Time to head out to the yard to smoke some ribs, drink some beer, and watch the kids swim in the pool while I look down my nose at you Boston boys. :p

Come on anytime Tom - ribs, brisket, it'll be here for you. Plenty of Coors Light today, but Suff will be happy too - my wife is drinking Nantucket Lemonade, whatever the hell that is - vodka, lemonade, cranberry juice, and ginger ale - and she seems to like it. I'll stick with beer.

Don't mind Suff. He'll forever be living his life trying to overcome his inferiority complex when it comes to all things New York....oh, he'll deny this, and come up with all sorts of stats and stories to try and convince himself otherwise....

But he knows....deep down, he knows....

Yea.. what good are stats?! They only mean something!

New York... yea what a city...

It is the only place in the world where you can find two guys willing to spend three hours arguing about the best way from Columbus Circle to Battery Park at 3:30 on the Friday before a long weekend, but neither one could find Wisconsin on a map.

New York, where if you can swear at your neighbor in his language you think of yourself as multilingual.

 :faint:

"Thus, the medication contained in the subject pill bottle was legitimately prescribed to the suspect by his physician," the filing said.

Yea ..words. Like the one's in the paragraph above where you <snip'd>

Strumwasser, who is Limbaugh's psychiatrist, told authorities he "agreed to have his name on the label in an effort to avoid potentially embarrassing publicity for the suspect," according to a filing by the prosecutor's office.

What the hell are you getting at? So what? It was his psychiatrist who wrote the script? You gotta problem with that? Don't you know that rich people use psychiatric therapy as a past time? Get with it.........

I'm so glad he's seeking help. That "on loan from God" crap should go away, as soon as his Dr. cures him of his Deity Complex.

Maybe in your insignificant opinion, but then, with a whopping three posts here, it might not be considered as high as insignificant.
Weclome to the pool, shark boy - we always need comic relief.
