I just hit the pick 4 at Cal expo.. But bet it at Pinnacle..

Paid $15,000 on track, Pinnacle has $5K limit

That's the risk you take when you bet with an offshore. Unless you're a heavy bettor, you'll never make that back in rebates even though it would have paid only half that with your $1 added in.

As a fellow capper reminded me, It's likely that was the only winner and my ticket being the other on track, it would have paid $7500.. AFTER Uncle Sam, it would have been around $5200..

I cannot complain that much

Yea, you are looking at about a $200 difference after taxes. Not much, and no hassle of w2g's

Well in actuality, if this was a bigger track with the $20K limit, I would have, in reality, made out very well with Pinnacle over playing into the pools..

If that same payout happened with no cap, I would get $15K clear, versus around $5300 after taxes..
