I like a 15-1 ML in the second half of the daily double this evening at Colonial, so I am playing 1,3,4,9,10 / 8 in the late daily double beginning with race 8.

Race 8 runs 8-2-10 so I am knocked out of the daily double. Oh well, if I get decent odds I will play 8 to wp in the nightcap. Am looking forward to the million dollar race at CNL tomorrow. Should be a fun day at the track.

I'll look at 4 or 5 in the race (depending on scratches) and pick up the higher priced exactas

7-5-13-2 *8 (if any of 1st 4 scr)

Lewis Michael is my top pick in a very competitive race -- fat chance getting near the M/L for odds though. I also like Outperformance, Roman Dynasty, and Go Between here as well. Looking for good prices in the EXs.

Another screaming example of why the M/L is useless. With about 30 minutes to go and $100K in the win pool, Lewis Michael is the chalk at 9/5. Here I was hoping for 5 or 6 to 1. 15 -1 on the M/L. I realize that it could go up but that doesn't seem likely. Time to look for value elsewhere -- no way you can take chalk in this competitive field.
