Does anyone know of any studies of the United States horseracing market which have found statistically significant nonrandom betting of horse numbers/post positions?

As I recall, William Quirin found statistically significant positive correlations for post position one in dirt sprint races of six furlongs or less, and in two-turn dirt route races of 1 to 1-1/8 miles, that were run at tracks where the main dirt oval was one mile or more in circumference. He also found a significant positive correlation for post positions 1-3 in two-turn turf routes of 1 to 1-1/8 miles. (I believe that those were the only significant positive or negative general correlations he found pertaining to post position. There may have been others applying only to specific tracks based on their unique individual contours, particularly on their turf courses, but I can't recollect them offhand.)
