I personally wager on these plays I post here for the amounts shown in the post. I normally will post the play anywhere from 8 to 2 minutes to post so it's in time for anyone else who wants to play them as well. The reason for this is that I'm a toteboard player. Let's stay profitable !!

Nice call on Bedford Falls. What do you think of 7 Chosen Aptitude in the 5th? It looks like a good top end with 1a and 12.
Good Luck!

Interesting! Passing the first at LaD was also a good move. The favorite won in a breeze, but the delay seemed to spook some of the horses. The outcome was not quite as planned.
Good Luck!

Anderon, let me ask you something. You're not shy about posting the amounts you claim to be betting. So, I don't think there is anything wrong with asking how large of a bankroll you are working with here. It best be huge....

At the time there was only around $7,000 or so on him when I made this post, remember he ended up with over $68,500 on him to win, so he got over $60,000 on him from the time I made my post. Now wouldn't I be really asking for trouble if he didn't get enough money on him by post..or better yet I could wait till the last minute to post what I wagered and see the pools first, but I posted it in advance to what I was doing on this race and it happaned. So it doesn't make sense for me to be that bold up front and then take a huge risk of it not showing up in the win pool on him.

Ryesteve...You may not of watched the minute by minute odds progression on this horse as he was being played. When I made my post he was 6/5 and drifted up to 3/2 around 9 mtp then came back down to even money at one point before settling at 6/5. So his odds did move alot in the last 10 minutes.

The strategy seems sound. I have seen a lot of high rollers play like this in casinos; with "unlimited bankroll" you can keep upping the bets until one wins, then quit. That is, an arbitrary "cut-off" doesn't really exist--one continues betting and escalating until a win, then stops.

Do people bet like this in the real world? Yup. Do they prosper? Nope. I am a bit of a skeptic, and I am dazzled not at all by "paper bets." Specifically, if the bets were $2 instead of $200 or $10 instead of $1000, would anyone really care?

I am not implying that Anderon is not doing exactly what he says he is doing. However, doing it so publicly is counter to everything I have ever seem from "large bettors," and smacks of someone with no interest in the IRS because the bets are all on paper, and is "putting on a show for the locals." Interesting, impressive, compelling--just like any good show should be.

Lastly, being a bit of a skeptic, I find distinct similarities between this sequence of postings--particularly in the support by others from other forums--and similar "set up" postings in other areas. If I were giving advice (which I am not), I would suggest watching critically, wishing Anderon the best of luck, but keeping a tight hold on your money bag. Someone is going to be along in the near future with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make the big bucks, supported by "proof" from (nah ... nobody would fall for that. Or would they?)
Good Luck to all, especially Anderon. Keep it up, the world loves to live vicariously; all the thrill of winning, with none of the bad after-effect of stacks of losing tickets.

Well, the bottom line in all this for me is this:

I really don't care if Anderon is betting for real or not. Either way, I couldn't care less.

WHAT DOES bother me is that the guy is telling us he only has a $100,000 bankroll and IS WILLING TO LOSE over 20% of his bankroll in one session!!!!

That's nuts. Real or not, he will most likely be broke in the not too distant future if he keeps betting like that....

But he's been doing it for 30 years and its very complicated.

Something to consider: How can you match this play? If you are more conservative, betting $20 - $20 instead of $200 - $200, would you escalate to betting $2000 (equivalent for "small potatos bettor" to the $20,000) to "get even"?

This is not intended as criticism, but as a question--how can anyone use this type of information to replicate the bets? If someone is going along, making bets, following the recommendations, up a little, down a little, what happens when he or she reaches the point of a bet that is 100 times greater than the "normal" bet? Will they be "compelled by the heat of the moment" to make the larger bet?

There is a reason why casinos normally declare a range of acceptable bets at table games; to prevent Martingales. The "double the bet after a loss" strategy provides a lot of leverage in a game that is close to 50-50. I do not question the wisdom of such wagering in horse racing--it has proven successful for Anderon.

What I question is the ability of those following his recommendations to avoid major choking when the wagers escalate so dramatically. Because a situation like this has come up in the past couple of days, it might be wise for prospective followers to ask themselves in advance what they would do if the situation arises again. Would they hit the submit button for a wager 100 times greater than their "normal" bet?

If yes, and the bet loses, who is responsible for the fellow who just dumped his life savings in a single race chasing a dream, and falls over from a coronary from the shock of losing? There is a real world out there, filled with real people, some of whom depend on the good intentions of those providing recommendations not to place them in an untenable position.
Good Luck!
