I live in Washington and I am pissed. This bill does not reflect the opinion of the voters. This bill was passed very, very quietly and signed into law in March. It has only been discussed in various media over the past 2-3 weeks.

FWIW, Washingtonians are still welcome to bet on horse racing via approved outlets such as TVG. The legislature approved a bill two years ago that expanded simulcasting and legalized phone wagering. Nothing has changed with regard to this.
