Anybody know of a program to automate downloads of chart files from Trackmaster?

I have a subscription to TM, but the process of downloading each file mouse-click-by-mouseclick is oh-so-20th centrury. The program I use that works on other sites (Excel web query) is unreliable for this purpose.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated...

Chances are it won't work. Equibase has mandated that all files be protected from file grabbers. It is very frustrating. I can understand this for the free products, but if I pay for unlimited charts or PPs, I should be able to download them in any manner I damn well please.

CJ -- "Jim" at TM says they do NOT have a policy to prevent automatic downloads (talked to him yesterday). I asked whether there are clients doing it, and he said "yes", but (of course) would not offer to put me in contact with any of them.

My Excel web query works some of the time... but not all the time. I'm still trying to figure that one out...

If that is true, and you use the FireFox browser, there is an extension you can install called "Download Them All" or something close to that. It should work, and it is free.

Here is more about the extension:

That's a smashing lil app. It's a "right click" after install.

I quit TM cahrts, partly because it was such a ridiculous download procedure - absollutely amaturish!
That and the ridiculous price, and the fact that many charts had errors and were not usable in my -their - track profile program.

DRF - PDF charts - as of the 6th, they now offer the whole card in one file!
