The wording of this USA Today poll struck me as odd:

Q: Is the Triple Crown too tough?

Yes: The horses need more time to recover
No: Would dilute prestige of winning Triple Crown

What does "dilute prestige of winning Triple Crown" have to do with the question? Unreal....

BTW, out of 5712 votes:

YES - 47%
NO - 53%

53% answered the one that makes no sense.

What is 4 + 7?

Blue!

Where do I vote?

:lol::lol::lol:

I guess one could advertise the Brooklyn Bridge in USA Today and get bids! Not the brigthest bulbs on the tree, USAToday readers!

The poll is a sidebar item that goes along with an article about extending the calendar dates for the Triple Crown series.

And, I don't know if the wording of the poll has changed -- but as of a few minutes ago it said:

Is the Triple Crown too tough?
Should more time be built between the races?

They could have asked: Do you want the TC races farther apart?
Yes- we want another TC winner.
No- we want more injuries.

25% Said "Yes." "The horsey's need more rest."

38% Said "No." "I already have reservations for the Preakness for 2007, 2008 and 2009."

61% Said "Maybe." "Depends on whether or not there is a NSACAR race the day of the Preakness."

And 9% recognized that this is way more than 100% and thereafter confimred that the people doing the math were the same dimwits who came up with the stupid comment about "..dilluting the prestige...".
