I have a hankering for this 3 horse in the opener at belmont.

I'll assume he's fresh off the 60 day rest, I'll assume he's matured some from his Initial green effort, I'll assume he's been working with and will improve with the equipment change (1st blinks). I'll assume he did not like/benefit from

a. The inner (all 3 starts)
b. The mud (last start).

I'll assume he was box-cars in all 3 efforts because he was up against a 3/5 and 4/5 in short fields (7, 8 and 9 respectively)

I just watched the Replays of the 2/10 and 3/12 races. The horse appears to me , to like to race. He's in there. Battled the 3/5 better than the running line shows.

I figure he needs to show major improvement because he gets 0 for 39, Espinoza. For an 0 for 11 trainer.

But he's 23-1 with 15 minutes to post. The field has a couple of decent runners but no world beaters.

I figure he gets out well, and on the cut back from a flat mile to 3/4'rs he could get very brave today.

He worked on May 14th on the Oklahoma up at Saratoga and was 2nd best of 22 on the track. He could fire and hang for the prize.

I'm liking the 3-8 in the opener with 15 minutes to post.

3-8 to the 1-6 in doubles.

da one (1) was all that. For fun at 4/5. #3 Diamond Jane did'nt fire. no factor. Lost by two city blocks , beating only one home.

8 was a distant 2nd to impressive winner. $3.90, $16 perffy,

By my math.

the 9 can't lose in the 4th at NY.

3-1 on the board with 15 Minutes to post.

matta-0-fact. I'm stepping outside to the 9-10-11. Keying the 9. No box. I hate box'n.

9 over 10-11.

.

won relatively easy at $1.80.

Coming back in the 5th with the longest shot on the board.

Pletcher AE'd in, and there is no disputing his Grass numbers. Hard to bet against.

My Horse ran evenly in his Grass debut, and if he runs to his pedigree, (grand slam) he can do something.

He doubled his beyer Number ( 30 to 62) when switched from Dirt to turf. I figure a 75 might get him on the ticket, and a 80 would win it. So its within reach.

32-1 in a 10 horse field, where the FAV is 7/2 and 6 horses are under 10-1.

#5 Grand I Am
I'll play the 5 WP and fiddle with 5,4 around the 1 and 8.

50-1 and ran like it.

The FAv won. The 1. I was in with a real shot last 100 yards with the 4 (17-1). He got squeezed and finished 4th,

It ran 1-11-6 and amazingly... the 6 paid $18.00 to show!

Over and out.
