Race 5:

If the 3 can stay with the 2 he’s a bargain @ 8-1 Let not the fact that the last was in Atlantic City sway the potentiality of this boy performing well.

Race 5: My Lord with that beautiful late kick @ 5F That was a fun race and a great call. 'here's My Lord flying up the middle of the track, My Lord - Oh My Lord!!

Race 6:

Can 3 Pagan Moon keep up with the clip clop of 8 Songster?
Probably not by the time the wire comes up which is 1F less than Songster has seen.

Race 7:

7 Zona the Italian trained by M Matz I believe has another entry in today’s card
Not real coocoo about the last outing @ KEE therefore & will have to throw my interests north to Ireland and
9 My Typhoon an early/presser where the track likes a late run though his numbers are formidable.
10 Humoristic a little uneven for my taste but because of the price will include and perhaps Ramon will bring the theatrics again today and get him up on a DQ

Race 8:

Trainer King T. Leatherbury (heck of a name) has asked 2 Ah Day to run distances of 5, 6, 7, 9 and now 8.5 and he just keeps gettting the job done. Last outing will not treat the others well here as it was a very good run never backing up an inch. 7 Ultimate Goal likes to be in front with a cushion of 4.8 lengths as he did in his last two.

Boy, Master Commander ran a nice one there. Thought Andromeda could duel that out with success.

Race 12: FOR THREE-YEAR-OLDS. $10,000 to pass the entry box, starters to pay $10,000 additional, with $1,000,000 Guaranteed, of which 60% of the purse to the winner, 20% to second, 11% to third, 6% to fourth and 3% to fifth. Weight 126 pounds for colts and geldings, 121 lbs., for fillies. A replica of the Woodlawn Vase will be presented to the winning owner to remain his or her personal property.

The pace set-up between Brother Derek and Like Now will determine the outcome of this affair laden with superlatives. Brother D has all the numbers to hold provided he indeed has excuses for the Derby which is plausible. I’ve watched replays of each of Barbaro’s runs and his drop down determination is evident in every one of his stellar efforts.

Should be a ball to watch.
