Just watching the Capital OTB replay show from this weekend's British racing:

GEORGE WASHINGTON wins their big stakes race at Newmarket this past weekend!!!

How great is that...who's next weeks big winner? Paul Revere? Maybe Benedict Arnold? :D

Actually he was probably Europe's best 2YO of 2005, he did not win this past weekend, he won 10 days ago, on the day of our Kentucky Derby. The reason that is especially notable is George Washington was bred by Lael Stables, who also bred and raced the winner of the Kentucky Derby on the same day.
