I hope to post the matchups later, but I did want to mention that creating a betting line for the matchup plays, put my thinking into a different gear.

As such, I'm developing a new odds line for win plays. Hope to have it ready shortly.

05/03/2006 3 wins in 6 plays, bet $805, net -$ 44
04/30/2006 5 wins in 8 plays, bet $979, net $159

Interesting in that today the Pinny matchup maker had a couple matchups that went right down to the wire.....not for first.

In the 3rd at CD, Pro Prado and Monkey Hill battled for 3rd and 4th finishing a nose apart.

In the 7th at CD, Lady Wrangler and Bogangles Cat finished a head apart in their big battle for 6th place.

If the object is to pair two evenly matched horses, the linemaker did a pretty good job today.

V, I down loaded the Pinnacle line last night but did not do my calc's.

I have just about finished my programs for line making.
Hope to have if completed and checked by Saturday..

But I did look at the cdx 3rd.. I make both of them to finish even.
I would have passed..That's system check #1 :cool:

OK, here is the scary news.
My first computer run, checking that all the data is going where it is suppose to go.
I used Thursdays Pinnacle line and got the following results.

15 plays (every race offered by Pinnacle was a play!!)

Total bet $1931, profit $336, 9 winners.
Implementing the program is a bit tedious, but if theses good results continue , I’ll put more effort into automating the program.

(that cdx play I mentioned in the other post, turned out to be a play afterall. The program picked up my manual error. It turned out to be one of the losing plays!)
