I see Dutrow has her entered at Churchill on Saturday in Grade 3 - 1 mile turf race off a 250 day layoff!

I just looked at the PP's- only 2 races where the animal did weaken, tire, or need to be driven or strongly handled. Between that and the pattern of 2-month layoffs followed by this latest long one, slow works except 1:01 at PM, and the "route" of only 1 mile and on what may very well be a soft turf course, my conclusion is that the horse has continual, serious bleeding of the lungs. I see no indicator of front wraps even around those shorter layoffs.
I call the chances of a horse with this kind of record "iffy" at best.
I would find it very interesting to know the true reason for the long layoff.

I just had a pick win who was rested from Aug 2004, so it is possible! Maybe more inefficient energy use than ohysical problem, but 1 mile should be easier in any case.

The question is: will she be wheeled back in three days? :D

The CD turf track looked very fast and dry and the race's time of 1:36 and change for 1 mmile turf very fast also- Sis City faded somewhat so I say she needs a slower track of some sort. Bad energy usage by Sis City's system in either case.
