Lot's of ways to make loot from this endeavor. My style tends towards win(occasionally) place(never) exotics(when the payouts have a chance of being, shall we say, large) Then by track selection. If i'm going to place a large win wager it's going to be at a track where the quality of racing is stable and I can feel more comfortable that they'll run to their level. I would rarely place a win wager at a IND, MNR and God forbid EVD. On the other hand those 'fringe' tracks offer real value in the exotics. I can't handicap many of the races at those types of tracks but I can oftentimes see when the money is spread out and the exotics stand a good chance of yielding profitable tickets. In my view a player has to balance a syle of both conservative wagers coupled with taking rips @ bombs (high paying horses). Afterall, first prize is a new Cadillac and 2nd prize is a set of steak knives. Anywho, where are the possible price plays for a person. I like the card @ CD any race but the 5th or 10th for exotics

Whatever a persons style it's a good idea to zero in on the plays that fit and pull the trigger. From my experience good players can look at various cards and tell quite quickly is it's going to be a chalky or big bomb day.

would love to throw out the 7 but will root for him to have an off day today and try and squeeze value out of the 1-2-5

i threw out the last race of the 6 but if you include it he's in the running
the 9 throws in that last clunker so i didn't figure his hitting the board

msw on turf can offer juicy exotic pays. if the 7 brings her A game i'm doomed. 2-12-5-6-3

shouldn't the 3 be about even money?

seems like a good value @ current odds of 2

twas busy loading up on that one. but sometimes when you have heavy chalk with 1 or 2 contenders check the payouts with the heavy chalk underneath
i cover those cold and leave out the 'chalk on top' payout as i'm not interested in slight exotic payouts

don't know what to make of the 8 as the race from down south was so so. feel kinda flat about the 5 so i'll lean on the 9 based on last outing

BEU 5

figure 5 contenders all willing to win here
pass. afterall, it's beu
if i can get a decent payout on an ex i'd play but with my selections at mid level payouts it's not worth it
deciding which races to pass on is equally important as which to play
guys that 'like action' can bump into some decent ones but they oftentimes give it back by the end of the day. protect the gains and minimize the losses

6-7 figure to be prancing away throw a dab of the 11 in there like the late effort of the 10 @ 6F
but end up seeing something in FTS Mongolia and decide to 'soft bet' @ current odds of 25

can't confidently make a win wager and the 5 is my only contender over 5-1

2-4-6-9-12 8 FTS (first time starter) with these confused girls the FTS looks less confused (or at least hasen't shown her confusion)

CT is always entertaining at this distance. i can hear the parents in the crowd now, 'they start wayyyy over there, then they come over here, then they go way over there, then they come back here to finish'
child responds: 'don't they get dizzy?'

have no play on this just thought i'd slide that in
