OK....I know this has been requested a few times, and I have finally enabled it....
This new "Exclude Off Topic in New Posts search" is now available under the QUICK LINKS menu option. Click on QUICK LINKS and the dropdown menu will include a selection labled New Posts (Exclude Off-Topic)
That will bring you a list of all the new posts since you last logged in, minus any and all posts in off-topic (this includes the sports and computer section as well). Only horse racing related subjects will appear using this new New Posts option.
The regular New Posts link in the menu bar still works the same...it gives you everything....
(If you don't know where to look for the Quick Links menu item, it is directly to the left of the Log Out menu item near the top right of every message board page, in the green menu bar. You must be LOGGED INTO THE MESSAGE BOARD in order to have the Quick Links menu item appear)
