I had a tuff year last year at Belmont, any suggestions?

I think my problems were the following.

1. The new medication rules limited the fields
2. The races they had were New York breds
3. I remember many rainny days.

Thanks for your input, and heres to a great meet.

IMO the tracks in NY are maintained well regardless of weather. I am wondering if you found a horses-for-courses angle of any use?

I look at it, but it has never been that important to me at Belmont, maybe I am missing something. Saratoga, and the inner at the Big A are different, but Belmont I never thought about too much.

Thanks

Keep track of trainers doing well. Don't worry about the detention barn,in my opinion its basically a non factor in the handicapping process.Try to determine if the track is favoring horses from outside posts on the dirt.On turf keep notes on each track and see if one or the other have any biases.
