Does anyone have any information on data files for Asian races? The stuff on TSN for Australia is a bit light on the data side (no internal fractions, etc.). Are there any alternatives available, and/or has anyone adapted a "North American" computer app to handicap races in Asia, especially Hong Kong and Japan? Has anyone developed a parsing application for the Hong Kong Jockey Club data?
Thanks and Good Luck

Charles Caroll is developing a Speed Handicapper to get speed figures for international races.

The HONG KONG Jockey Club site is incredible.
So much information; so much of the work already done for the handicapper.
It's almost enough to get a lazy, fat man, off his ass and back to gambling.
Almost.

aap in Aussie, but they only publish the final time and the last 3/8ths.
The files are 7 or 8 dollars if I remember correctly, I was into playing them years ago when they began showing them late at night, but have since gotten older and require more sleep.

So, despite Bernard Shaw's opinion, you did indeed stop playing because you grew old.

We had a guy here who studied the four photos they print after each race )in the "Form") and worked out NORMAL fractions with lengths behind at each call then used a Sartin program to cap. Did very well

Thanks for the information. We do something close to that, but take our own.
