1st- #2 Norman Norman ex- 2,8,10 I’d lean into the 8
2nd-#2 Proper Values ex- 2,6,7 Tough to get behind his ease in Nov and coming in here with average works. I’d look at the 7.
3rd-#7 Maddie's Lullaby ex-1,4,7 P3 1,4,7/ 4,7,8/ 5,6,8 Race is not worth playing
4th-#8 Chronology ex- 4,7,8 Box the 2-4-85th-#6 Valid dancer ex- 5,6,8 8 should win. Box 2-5-8-10
6th- #6 Free Moonshine ex- 3,6,9 P3 3,6,9/ 1,4,9/ 3,4,5 Could go a number of ways with the exception of the 6 being in the winners circle
7th-# 4 Roses From Dora ex 1,4,9 Don’t know what to make of the 8. I’d box 1-7-9-6
8th-#3 Little Fawn ex 3,4,5 Right on. Good call (hope the 2 doesn’t wiggle in)
9th-#6 It's time to smile ex- 2,5,6 Not playable Consider 5-1-2-6-7
10th-#7 Candy Runner ex- 2,4,7 Can Revered bring his A game? Questionable form by all. Better pass.

Don't you guys know that a horse with a speed figure of zero (eased) is an automatic bet at MNR??? :p

MNR 4th

The #8 Chronology should put this field away easily. Take anything at 8/5 or better.

It's tough to make a single bold stance with MCL's on a very off track at any offering that is less than "wow look at that price"
I can't figure if it's an ego issue for people to try and pick winners or if it's old school but to pick winners is not an ez game. Boxing the 2-4-8 here pays even $ and has a far greater chance of cashing a ticket than pinning ones hopes on a MCL to win at MNR with the rain in full swing.

Mack,

I'm going to go ahead and concede to you whatever it is that you think you are competing for. Obviously, you are an astute player and a fine handicapper. Hell, you're even well spoken. If its starting to sound like I take exception to your comment, then fill in the blank. You talking about ego is ironic if nothing else.

I very much respect your insight and level of trip handicapping. It's something I wish I were better at, as it can cash lots of tickets that "numbers" don't. Don't get me wrong CL. After being in the game for a bit it just dawned on me that so many players try to pick winners and fall short of having productive afternoons/meets. If anything my view of your analysis is not of your capping, which appears formidable. It's of your betting decision. I 2, fell into the world of "if i can pick the winner, i figured it out" Horses running around an oval can be a tough way to make a buck. Oftentimes, it's in the wagering - that the loot is found. I simply thought, as I'm new to this board, that a bit of discourse could be fluid. I'll refrain from any suggestions to you in the future. Cash em' big.

As earlier eluded: boxing the 1-6-7-9 with a $5 ExBox costing $60. pays $298
5/1 return and i've got my hopes pinned on 4 rather than 1

On myu public side, using 3 choices per race, I returned $53.80 of $54.00 in 9 races (in the 9th race, 3 of my choices scratched out, so it is a pass, which I previously explained on the site where I do picks). So I lost 20 cents!!
