The USA is now claiming that the IHA did not legalize horse betting, and that the US was therefore in compliance with the WTO ruling on offshore gaming.

This should be interesting.

If this is true then all simulcasting would have to come to an imediate end, this goes for Las Vegas to they would have to go back to the old days where you bet against them.

I have a simple solution to this whole mess. We handicappers all at the same time drop our pants and tell these people to kiss our asses.

So this means that we could wake up one morning soon and find out we can no longer bet on simulcast races?

The WTO does not care about horserace betting, they want to screw the USA and they know the USA thoroughbred progran is the only game in town. By screwing offshore betting they think they can screw the rich capitalists (owners and the breeders) who dominate the richer races which have the most per-race betting money coming into the USA.
Thew easy answer is to figure out which Carribean countries bring in the most betting dollars and either adapt their gaming laws for the USA or else make then states!
