The last time we used this system, it proved to be successful. We are trying it again,another trial run, for one week, 7 days, may not be consecutive though. Due to work, and other things going on. We'll try to keep it up and running as best we can though.

A $2 W/P/S bet is going to be made on all selections. In the case of multiple selections, a wps bet is still made on all of the selections. This may be modified tomorrow, but it's the easiest thing for today.

It is free, and costs nothing but a little time. Last time it had an 8% roi I think, nothing to be bragging about but at least it was a posotive.

The angle -
The whole theory behind the "owner angle" is that if an owner wins more, the more he/she has to put back into their program. Like I said before, you will find that the best owners also have the best trainers, jockeys and hopefully the best horses in a race. Alot even train their own horses, i.e. Dale Baird @ Mountaineer, and also Steve Asmussen, only the second most winning trainer right now behin Scott Lake by 10 wins, Lake has 143 and Asmussen has 133 as of right now per equibase.com. Scott Lake, as far as I know, doesn't own race horses, not many anyway (isn't on the top 100 OWNERS).

What you can expect -
You can expect these horses to have the lead at some point in the race. Whether early or late, most of the time they will be up there. In most cases, the horse will either win or place, or run dead last. The only problem with this angle is that the owner knows what they are doing and may not be running the horse wide open like some of the others are. I read something not too long ago saying the owners, when prepping a horse just want to get their horse in the lead, to see how they act, and they also to be trailing to see as well. This is obviously for first or newer horses or those coming off of a layoff.

What you need -
I have everything set-up in Microsoft Excel (you can see in the PDF file) so you'll need that. You'll need to be familiar with the formulas in Excel and know a little about it. If you don't, no prob, I can talk you through it and I'll be glad to. You will also need access to Thorostats.com as well. They are a "free for now" site, great site I might add, you'll be using in conjuction with the excel sheet you make or I email you.
