"Or that (the president), a man who wouldn't testify in front of the 9/11 Commission without Cheney by his side, suddenly woke up one morning and thought to himself: "I can't allow these irresponsible, unfounded, wild, and flat-out false accusations to go unanswered. I need to selectively declassify the paragraphs at the bottom of page 24 of the 2002 NIE so we can perpetuate the myth that Iraq was "vigorously trying to procure" uranium from Africa.

Well i suppose if one wanted to go really, really, really low you could use Ann Coulter.
But i do like this quote.
In his filing last week, Patrick Fitzgerald stated: "The evidence will show that the July 6, 2003 Op-Ed by Mr. Wilson was viewed in the Office of the Vice President as a direct attack on the credibility of the vice president (and the president)..." Note who gets relegated to parentheses-land.

The Worst President in History?
One of America's leading historians assesses George W. Bush

.. No previous president appears to have squandered the public's trust more than Bush has.

...More than half the country now considers Bush dishonest and untrustworthy, and a decisive plurality consider him less trustworthy than his predecessor, Bill Clinton.

Remember back in the 70's when Rolling Stone actually covered music?

I stopped my subscription when it went 70% politics..............

Does anybody give a shit what they think? I doubt it..........

Especially when they hire a left wing College professor to write the piece. Oh I am sorry, a historian.........not a professor.............??

hcap, while you're at it, you might as well quote Ward Churchill and all the other socialist'communist professors that are indoctrinating our kids.
And nobody has ever told me what Saddam was doing with all that enriched uranium we did find in Iraq.

Clinton: let N. Korea pursue a nuke prgm.
Let China buy satellite launching technology from his biggest contributor.
Didn't get Osama when he was offered up.
Raised taxes on everything and ultimately put the economy into a downspin.
And too much more to list.

Bush: Cut taxes and saved the economy. New home ownership at alltime high.
Gave 2 countries a chance at deomocracy.
Successfully prosecuting the war on terror.
And too much more to list...

from the master of the BLACK (libs. dems etc.) and WHITE (anything repub)

favorite quote from the article:"Calamitous presidents, faced with enormous difficulties -- Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, Hoover and now Bush -- have divided the nation, governed erratically and left the nation worse off. In each case, different factors contributed to the failure: disastrous domestic policies, foreign-policy blunders and military setbacks, executive misconduct, crises of credibility and public trust. Bush, however, is one of the rarities in presidential history: He has not only stumbled badly in every one of these key areas, he has also displayed a weakness common among the greatest presidential failures -- an unswerving adherence to a simplistic ideology that abjures deviation from dogma as heresy, thus preventing any pragmatic adjustment to changing realities"

I personally don't have a master, neither do you. THE master of BLACK and WHITE is from post 11

If someone from the Democratic party saved his life he would find a way to denegrate it.

You want to quote this crap, how about showing me a domestic policy issue that Bush has made a disaster of? I read this article as the usual bullshit from the left. Toss in a few ten dollar words and try to say things enough times that people think they are true.......same ole shit.........just because he doesn't lay down whenever the media or the intelligentsia decide that he is wrong.......you guys and the usual suspects in the media try to lump him in with some group that is perceived as a failure. I don't like the way the guy is running the country, but I admire his middle finger stuck right in the face of the media and the rest of the left.

I bet it makes for great discussion at the dinner parties all over New York and Washington, and every college campus in America. But there are some who admire his way of telling you guys to F**k Off. It is one thing he does right, and on a pretty regular basis. Good on him!

another great quote from Fearless leader (how can you take him seriously when he can't even speak??):"I strongly believe what we're doing is the right thing. If I didn't believe it -- I'm going to repeat what I said before -- I'd pull the troops out, nor if I believed we could win, I would pull the troops out." (Apr. 6, 2006)

And too much more to list...Lefty,
I'm seriously asking you for an explanation.

1-Please tell me why you think all-time high new home ownership is indicative of a saved economy, and how Bush is responsible for that particular phenomenon?

2-On what specific facts do you base your conclusion that the war on terror is being successfully prosecuted?

I am not attempting to mock your words. I really want to understand your position.

I'm breaking my own rules and voting Democract for Pres in '08. This Bush- Repub. domestic spying is getting out of hand. They have no boundrys.

Wait one darn second here. Somebody posted a graph of "Approval Ratings" a few weeks ago, and it clearly showed that GWB has a while to go before he catches up to a number of recent "Presidential Lows" including REAGAN, CLINTON, NIXON (of course) and maybe one more I am forgetting....

Funny how when I pointed this out, there was no comment from ANYONE.

On top of that, GWB, also from this same graph of "Approval Ratings" holds the distinction of having the HIGHEST approval rating EVER.....

Fun with stats....

Funny...Funny, fiddle funny, how i point out Everything and Nots-a - body acknowledges nots a thing, ever.

hey hey , just think that if "the real brains" of our society had given a listen to Uncle George, when he wanted to attach social security to the stock market, why, i'm thinking we would be free of the concern of coming up short on s.s. payments.
as a mater of fact, so would i have been well off.

not too late for the market, never will be too late, i'm thinking, but thems that know it All, don't listen to Uncle George and Chainsaw, but history wil prevail.

I haven't done any research on it, but my gut and my market experience (limited as it may be to only 5+ years) tells me tying SS to the stock market is one BAD idea....

Lefty

PA, how bad can it be? The SS as we know it is crashing under its own Ponzi scheme wght and will eventually grow broke. Some sort of privatized SS is the only hope for our kids and grandkids.
