Dave,

I would enjoy joining you in the live play sometime. These posts tend to get buried in the selections forum which I would ordinarily never look at.

You might reuse this thread the next time around so that those who have an interest can get an e-mail notice.

I will bear that in mind. Also, I suppose a little advance warning would help as well.

Dave, I got distracted by my wife. She's due with our baby any day now. I apologize. The kid is already getting in the way. :D

One of my small projects for this month is to get it going without a telephone call.

We'll see how that works.

Dave

PS: Ron: No apology necessary.

I agree about the advance warning; thursday night would be great I do not play every week end.

What tracks are you playing during the conference call?

This week is out of the question as I am preparing for a trip to New York (on Friday).

When I play, I always play whatever tracks are currently being shown on TVG or HRTV, the two satellite racing channels I get.

When I come back from my New York trip I will also get the online-audio going so as to remove the telephone call from the loop.

Live play Saturday, April 7. 9:30am (pacific) until 11:00am (pacific) - perhaps later if response demands it.

Video and audio. You should have a computer headset with microphone.

Read about it here:

Actually, you don't need a headset to listen. You only need the microphone to talk.

If you don't have a headset microphone, be conscious of feedback from your speakers.

Just went out and bought a headset. Will give it a try.

Also the disk just arrived.

Thanks for making this available to us. I missed the greater part while trying to figure out how to get the new microphone to work.

Amazing what modern technology makes possible.

It is definitely a technology that is in its infancy (for us). We had some struggles but it worked out well.

For those who may be interested, here is a link to the screenshot folder:

If you are just interested in the selections, look at this link:

(In case anyone thinks I might be redboarding, these selections were posted live with about 10 witnesses.)

If you've been a good boy, and done your taxes, how about a little live play?

http://www.horsestreet.com/ubb/Forum4/HTML/001401.html

I'll be playing until at least 5pm, maybe a little after.
