My info is a bit dated,it having been two years since my last visit.Did spend the day in the Virgin River racebook.It was smokey,and the facilities were basic,but certainly adaquate.They had a good players card with pretty good comps for even low or medium level play.All of the Mesquite clubs have websites,just Google Mesquite hotel casinos.Mesquite has experienced a boom in the last few years,and other places may have added racebooks.A little research time and perhaps an email or two should be fine.One thing did notice was that the number of tracks offered was not as large as racebooks in other parts of Nevada,but this may have changed.

your a lot more recent than myself. had some things pop up that got me interested in Mesquite. i recon the last time i was there was bout 20 some years ago. with 1 or maybe 2 casinos (truck stop).
i've noticed the real estate being a little more expensive than Vegas, got me thinking about what is going on there.
