Aqu 6th Race Choke

Can someone explain what the hell Coa was thinking when he choked his horse late from passing Arroyo in the 6th @ Aqu today? The rail closed on Coa when Arroyos horse drifted in from right hand whipping. Coa checks hard and switches outside. Coa looks like he's got horse to overtake Arroyo but then slams on the braks and holds fourth position and forces a dq of arroyo. Imagine what an ass coa would hav been if in the heat of the moment he misjudged and Arroyo didn't need to come down!

Looked like Coa's horse himself balked at passing the Arroyo runner after almost clipping heels inside and then a checking a bit outside. Sometimes we have to remember that horses are not go-carts and have a mind of their own. Coa wanted to go but horse did not.

Coa's horse was free and clear with the better momentum OUTSIDE of arroyo when he "balked" as you claim.
