His ad starts something like this:

"Nothing is more powerful than the truth." Then, I think, it somehow ties in Chevrolet to the great truths ... justice, the American Way? Don't make me larf, mate.

Don't forget Elton Brand and Corey Maggette. Brand is a 20 PPG/10 board a game guy. And Grant Hill was a star before injuries got to him. I'm as anti-Duke as anyone but they have turned out some solid players.

What's the name of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' mentor? Shredder? Mikey's twin. Mikey can shave his head, get into a wheelchair, and assemble a group of mutants --- the K-Men.

Good point About Brand... not quite ready to add Maggette to the "A-list". As for Hill, I lived in Detroit when he was there, and I always felt that he was -- if this makes any sense -- a tough-but-soft player. Reminds me of Griffey Jr. -- an injury just waiting to happen to a very nice player.

My real point was that for as much talent that flows through Duke, it's hard to believe that more guys don't become top-notch NBA players.
