It's put on by the Coast Casino folks -- who run some nice contests -- at their new South Coast casino. It's May 18-19 (Thu-Fri), $400 to enter, 12 equal WPS wagers per day, reduced room rates, breakfast/lunch... and a special (private?) Preakness Party on the 20th. Top prize is $92k, based on 500 entires, and they almost always draw more than that... one contest drew almost 950 entries and paid $162k on top! :cool:
Since I have "Dad's Taxi duty" during the same time for the one coming up at the end of March, I've already started the "begging and pleading" to go to this one... a bribe might help as well!!! ;)
