I got 9 out of 11 also. Though I disagree with one of their answers, so I consider I got 10 right.

I disagree on one of the ones I got wrong too. My wife just told me she got an 11, it will be a while before I hear the end of this .......

My wife *IS* an 11. I got ten. I missed the one that had a number trick AND a wording trick. Doubly tricky.

The marriage one is the one I don't like, they didn't trick me, but there are no laws governing what that kind of person can "do", since they can't do anything. Technicality I know, I don't think either Yes or No is correct, but I think Yes is more correct than No.

I just blew one of the others...about the big boat.

If your wife is a widow case closed, you are compost. I got 10 but I wouldn't dare show this to my wife. She might get an 11 and she already knows everything.

I got 11. Once you realize they are all trick questions, it is easy...

I also got an 11. As far as girls go, I waited for Miss Right. I just didn't know her first name was Always

I would not call them trick questions. It's more of a matter of reading exactly what is stated.

It reminds me of the test that a teacher might hand out for fun. The very first instruction is to read all of the questions before doing anything more. The last question tells you to do nothing more and to write your name at the top of the test then turn it in. It's amazing to see the looks of those that did not follow directions having them see others finishing so quickly while they are still answering questions. Only after they've gotten to the bottom of the page and read that last question do they realize they messed up!

but unless its in a opposite dimension,30 divided in 1/2 is 15 .Course I took an IQ test and scored 180 so how good are tests?

The question didn't say 30 divided IN half, it said 30 divided BY half...big difference...

Tear two pieces of paper in half....what do you have left? One piece of paper, or four pieces of paper?

Same thing...

Ah, but the wording is not "divided in half," but "divided by 1/2," which is different than dividing by 2.

if the sentence read "thirty divided by one half and add ten"would the answer be the same ?Seems its just like the math sentences my eight year old is getting now.But he is getting public schooling ;)

1/2 = 0.5
the first part of the problem become 30/0.5, make it easier: multiply both numerator and denominator by 10: 300/5 = 60
now at 10: 60+10=70<img>

Or, invert and multiply.
