Read in the paper today that one of these games will be coming to times square at some new place called dave and busters. I was totally unaware that it existed. Has anyone used this simulator before?

I played at D&B for an hour or so....it's a lot more simplistic than I thought it would be....you really don't have much control during the running of a race except when to take back or start whipping.

With that said, it wasn't a totally unenjoyable experience and I do still have my data card....lol

Just to give you a point of reference, my kids (ages 11 and 8) love it. 'Nuff said.

I think it's a fun game .. but the most significant drawback for me .. whenever a zebra is in a race .. THE ZEBRA ALWAYS WINS!!! .. or maybe it just seems that way .. I do think trying to figure out my horses' favorite foods is a good idea for the game .. just can't see that horses would love cabbage or radishes .. and I can't say I've ever come across a horse that didn't eat hay. But .. I totally lose track of time playing that game!

(And I could/should probably just stay home and play the games for PS2).

The Damn thing has a cult following. You have to play it for a long while before you really start making some more difficult decisions. I know some guys who play it for hours on end. It is very popular at D&B. Even amongst the managers. Of course they play for free...............

My wife runs a Dave and Busters........I could play for free but am afraid that I might end up liking it........and that could become a problem..........I would rather shoot pool and play some of the other stuff.
