New Jersey must think alot of itself if the legislature feels it can pass a law that effects so many people in inter-state commerce. This would seem to be the exculsive right of the federal government. I'm sure there must be some rules to govern internet content but 50 states 50 rules would seem to be a bit much to ask a provider to know. Would seem that every provider would need an attorney versed in 1st amendment law to read everything posted on their board and then would have to edit every message, an awful lot of work and money. Thanks for pointing this out interesting, I see that the bill requires that the provider must know who if posting on their board before anything kicks in but what if Alaska wants their social security number and Lousiana wants a address and phone number and California wants the spouses name and on and on then what?
