For these races/runners

Aqu
R4 - 6 (5/2)
R5 - 4 (1-2)
R6 - 1 (9/5)
Gulf
R1 - 1 (2-1)
R8 - 2 (4-1)
Laur
R1 - 1a (7/5)
R2 - 6 (3/2)
R6 - 5 (7/5)
R9 - 10 (4-1)
SA
R1 - 3 (2-1)
R8 - 5 (5/2)
TP
R5 - 5 (2-1)
R8 - 1 (3/5)

Here's the question? If this is all you had to work with, how would you go about betting these races? You also can use the times they are suppose to go off at.
Would you parlay 2 or 3?
Progressive?
Percentage?
Now remember, with this kind of no information question, is just that, a question. I'm not asking who would you bet, I know a lot of you would toss plenty because of odds. This is what you have to work with. You also don't have the privy of 'its' win % either (that's a tuff one not to have)
Just seeing if there are any 'clever' ideas to go about this. Just pretend that you were going the beach, but you had to bet these, and this is all you have.

Ideas wanted, thx

I'd play a place parlay on the NY races and a smaller pick 3.
Gulf-I'd play a wp parlay.
Laurel-I'd bet each horse to w/p
SA and TP-I'd bet wp parlays

I wouldn't bet any of them. Just don't have enough information. Great thing about racing is there will be a whole new load of races to bet the next day. Never HAVE to bet any of them.

Looking at the odds and otherwise in the dark, I would bet them all to place providing the perceived "off" odds to win (at 1 MTP) were 2/5 or higher. I would bet a fixed amount on each bet, against a fixed "session" bankroll with the amount of each bet being 1/13 of the bankroll. Also, I would bet where I would be getting a rebate (read: Pinnacle).

Of course, if this list is comprised of all "bad" favorites, then I would win-dutch the 2nd/3rd betting choices (just for action!).

Note: These are todays races.

Interesting already. Valuist tosses them, which I stated a lot of us would, but it's just a question to see How we would bet them if we DID bet them. 1st poster aaron picked right up on a P3 there, and rrbauer is 'doing' his math.

Some guys never figure this out! Hell, it took me about twenty years to realize that it was OK to take a vacation with the family and that there would be racing when I got home....course I still have that national OTB map from that first vacation!

Just to see this through with my suggestion using $100 per bet.
AQU...........................$100 Place. Rebate
R4 - 6 (5/2) Scratched
R5 - 4 (1-2) Won 2.80 2.20 110 None
R6 - 1 (9/5) Won 3.60 2.60 130 4.00
Gulf
R1 - 1 (2-1) Won 3.00 2.60 130 7.00
R8 - 2 (4-1) Out .............100- 7.00
Laur
R1 - 1a (7/5)Won 3.40 2.40 120 7.00
R2 - 6 (3/2) Out. .............100- 7.00
R6 - 5 (7/5) 2nd 2.60 130 7.00
R9 - 10 (4-1)Scratched
SA
R1 - 3 (2-1) Won 4.20 2.60 130 7.00
R8 - 5 (5/2) Won 6.20 3.60 180 7.00
TP
R5 - 5 (2-1) Out .............100- 7.00
R8 - 1 (3/5) Won 2.60 2.10 No Play
Bet Collect Rebate Net
1000 930 60.00 10-

You can see without doing much math that a straight win bet on these selections would've returned a flat-bet profit plus the rebate. FWIW

That's kind of why I was hoping to see more suggestions. To see if one person said to just bet them to win, but I don't think anyone would without atleast knowing what the win % rate is. It looks suicidal to do that. 'They' do have a high W%. If I was asked this blind I probably would have said to parlay every two (like doubles)
