re:

I went ahead and changed over the Consensus sheets to the new format on the main website beginning today Wednesday 3/1/2006. The new format totaly outshines the old style consensus sheets. I'll probably post in the area of 5 tracks a day for the next week, while I do some testing and decide on a direction. I'm also going to start randomly picking a race on a daily basis to handicap over here on the message board. The race chosen each day will be totally random, so we'll just take what we get. It may just be a chaulk type dominate race or there may be a longshot potential within the race. My style of handicapping is just taking what the race gives you and not forcing a wager. I believe it will be fun for me and help to keep me sharp. If anyone gleens any useful information by me presenting my methodology and my thought process then thats great. We all work toward one common goal, and thats beating the take or in poker the rake. I'll try to do a race a day but don't hold me to it.

Ok, todays race I threw a dart at AQU Race 1.

A quick analysis of this race screams chaulk. Wayward Liz has a 2 point gap on the field and I believe has found a way to the winners circle with a first time drop into the maiden claiming ranks. These fillies are a bunch of slugs and it will be a miricle if any of these fillies breaks out of the gate running. The ES rating shows no speed what so ever. The top 3 ES horses total 9 points which is a very slow pace. This tends to help the front runner. Wayward Liz is the only runner with good ES rating and MP rating, so I see her breaking on top by 2 and never looking back. C2 dominate rating, top EC and handles the par well with a top AP rating and raced just 13 days ago, so she's fresh and ready to go.

I see Cut Diamond stalking and maybe catching Wayward Liz at the wire with her late speed. She likes the surface with a BST of 68 and there something to be said for horses that like courses. I see it as a two horse race.
