I've searched the web looking for a link to current three-year track records for North American Tracks. I can't find anything. It's occasionally printed in the racing form, but I haven't seen it in a long time.

If anyone can tell me where I can find this info it would be much appreciated. I've also tried Brisnet and DRF to no avail.

Thanks.

What you are looking for appears usually in the Racing Form

I don't think I have ever run across a web site that has last 3 year records.

I have seen where each track has some track records
but not exactly what you want.

Hi, thanks for your response. It's been a few years since I've played the ponies, so I'm not sure what those numbers mean on the first link you provided--track equalization numbers. (The second link had overall track records, not just the three-year track records so that won't help.)

For example: Here are the numbers for AQU GP SA

Class Track Sprint Mile Route
10 AQU 100 100 90
10 GP 101 - 95
10 SA 102 92 98

Class and track I get. So if I want to compare a horse from AQU now running at SA in a sprint. Is the SA track 2 ticks faster, so I'll have to adjust the AQU horse down two ticks? Am I in the ballpark?

Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks.

You might notice that the shorter distant records are more recent, and most are after the Secretariat era. I do not know how many 2 mile + up races are still run.

And in typical DRF technological competence, it is not printable. Tried two printers and then to a different PDF file - still could not print the whole page.

Hint: Come April 1st, DRF F3 and F4 will no longer work - you must upgrade to the F4.1 for either type file. Nows the time to sign up with BRIS or TSN for you long term PP needs!
Remember the disatorous launch of F4?

Tried printing out that PDF and had no problem, except it was really small print.

Hi, what does F3 and F4 mean?

Bear with me, guys. It shouldn't take me too long to get up to speed.

Thanks.

Which chart pinted, this one of the DRF one?

BTW, ATM 2006 Track Equalization Chart is due out around the 20th of March in the April issue.

Those are versions of Formulator - V3.0 and V4.0.
The new one we need to upgrade(?) to in the next month is V4.1

I also had no problem printing 3 year best times directly from pdf with my cheap Konica Minolta USB laser. 1 page, very tiny print. See if there is a "shrink to fit" checkbox in the print dialog.

Spilparc,

The racingchannel.com does have this and they go back on each race track on all north american tracks. This is thier results archive and it goes back to 1998 on each track reults and mutal prices and tri's supers ect.
However, you need to be a member (have an account as I do) to access this info. I have been with them since 1998 They are the BEST1 If you want more let me know.

Will someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you supposed to be able to ascertain the three-year track record by working backwords from the speed rating?

In other words let's say xyz ran a 112 at GP with a speed rating of 87. You subtract 13 ticks from 112 and you come up with a three-year track record of 109/2/5.

At least I thought you could do this, but every time I try I keep coming up with different numbers, hence my need for the three-year track record list.

Here's an example from GP on 2/14/2004:

Horse: All Hail Stormy's last two races:

jan21/04 8GP 6f 1:11/3/5 82
jan3/04 5GP 6f 1:09/4/5 93

If you use my method on the first race you come up with a three-year track record of 1:08. For the second race you come up with 1:08/2/5.

According to the list that was posted here (http://www.drf.com/misc/3yearbesttimes2006.pdf) the three-year track record at GP for 6F is
1:08/4/5.

So I'm confused.

I must be mixed up about something. I'm sure someone will correct me.

Thanks.

Are you factoring in beaten lengths?

Also, the SR are NOT updated weach year - those from 2005 will be different from those in 2006 if the three year best changes.

As soon as I hit the send button I realized my error. No I didn't factor in beaten lengths.

So which is best to use? The three-year track record chart or the equalization chart? This is the first time I've seen an eq chart.

Also one more thing: If you see a little box with a dot in it after the distance in the PPs, such as at AQU does that mean the inner track or taken off the turf?

Thanks
